The saga that has been ear infections continues unfortunately. Last night Maddy woke up about 15 times and seemed to be in a lot of pain. We figured by about the 8th time (at 1:00am) that the ear infection must be back (or still there depending on your opinion). After a sleepless night for all, we got in to see Maddy's pediatrician at 9am. They confirmed that she still has ear infections in both ears and prescribed her 5th antibiotic in a month. We asked about tubes (since many of you have been talking them up) and our doctor said she really feels that this has been one very strong and resistant ear infection, not a whole bunch of ear infections, so she would recommend holding off for now. Hopefully this last (and powerful) antibiotic will do the job. Fingers crossed everyone!
