We went down to Vancouver, WA last weekend to visit Aunt Linda, Uncle Bob and Great Grandma Pat. Grandma just moved into a new assisted living community where she has her own apartment but in a community where they have meals, activities and so much more. We had a great time and can't wait to go down for another visit. Here are some photos of all the fun!

Maddy turned 5 months on March 14. She's putting everything in her mouth, eating solid foods, and wearing 6 month clothes (because she is SO long). Here are some photos to show off how big she's gotten.
Maddy has tackled a whole bunch of milestones lately. She laughs, rolls over and has just started sitting by herself. She really is growing up so fast and I can't believe how big she's getting. Here are some videos and pictures of the action!
We took Maddy swimming today at the pool in Grandma & Grandpa's neighborhood. Lucky for us we didn't see the sign that said no children under the age of 3 until we were already in the water. Maddy had a few minutes in the pool where we were able to snap a couple of pictures before we got out and complied :)
While in Phoenix (Peoria really) we decided to take in a Mariner's game for Spring Training. We wanted to see how Maddy would do with professional sports, so this seemed like a good test before we actually initiate her into the Seahawks or Huskies. She loved looking at all the people, smiled when the loud music came on and even took a nap while the crowd roared for a home run. I still think she'll need earplugs for the Seahawks but this was a good initiation :)
We're in Phoenix right now visiting Ted's parents for a few days. It's beautiful weather (high 70s) and sunny and we are loving it (especially since its 50 degrees and raining in Tacoma). Here are some photos with Maddy and Grandma Merlene.
We haven't had too much going on these past few weeks. Overall life is really good and we're settling into a routine now that we're on our own. Maddy has been going to daycare for 2 weeks and is doing great. Ted and I are managing to do well handling all the household "stuff" as well as Maddy and even finding a little time for ourselves. It's by no means easy, but it's going well and we're happy about that. Here are a few photos of Maddy being her happy self :)
