9 Months

Here are the 9 months photos! It's almost impossible to get her to hold the number without squishing, bending or eating it. Ted reminded me that next month is going to be double hard since I'll be working with two numbers. Ugh! I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there. For now, happy 9 months!

9 Months Appointment

Maddy had her 9 months doctor's appointment this afternoon. She is 18.1 lbs (39th percentile) and 28 inches long (68th percentile). She's still tall and skinny (minus her cute chubby thighs). She can crawl now, pull her self up on things and officially sleeps through the night! We are loving our little girl and can't wait for all the adventures to come. The 9 month photos will be taken and posted this weekend!

Crawling

Maddy has been scooting and moving for a couple of weeks now. She seems to be crawling now although she still does it her own way (with her right leg up and sort of getting in the way). Every once in a while she will do a few regular crawls. Here is a video of Maddy's style of crawling :)

Pool Party

Summer is FINALLY here in the northwest. We are about to get some 80 degree days which is perfect for a backyard pool. I bought Maddy a little inflatable pool today which includes an inflatable rainbow shade cover. She thought it was very cool until I wanted her to go in it. It took quite a while to get her used to the idea. First she sat on my lap next to the pool, then she sat on my lap and we put our feet in, and finally she got in herself. Here are the pictures of our pool adventure!

Cousins!

We had pictures taken of Maddy and Hayden while the family was together this past weekend. The babies did really well and we got some great shots.

4th of July

Yesterday was Maddy's first 4th of July. Ted, Maddy and I went to Seattle for brunch at my favorite restaurant (Portage Bay) for my birthday and then went to a Mariner's baseball game. We had a great time soaking up the sun.

Baptism

Maddy was baptized at Saint Charles Catholic Church on Sunday, July 1. Her godparents are Daniel Draper and Casey Silva. We had an amazing time, celebrating the big day with so many family members and friends. After the mass we had a party at our house.
